HOA Annual "Pre Meeting" Notes

Hello Robbins Brook Members!

I can't believe it's been a year since our last annual meeting. So many wonderful accomplishments have been made and yet their is still so much that needs to be done.

For the next week I will be providing "Pre Meeting" notes that will be discussed at our Annual Meeting per the agenda that you have already received. These notes will help get you up to speed before the meeting so that you can have your questions or concerns ready for the Q&A segment of the Annual Meeting.

These notes will also help those that may not be able to attend and would still like to be informed as to what has been going on this year in the Robbins Brook Community. I do encourage all Association Members to be present at all Quarterly and Annual meetings. Attending scheduled meetings is the only way to receive accurate information as to the status of our association.

Like with so many corporate organizations, and for many different reasons, Robbins Brook HOA  experienced turnover within the Board of Directors. The Board that will be in front of the association during this Annual Meeting will not be the same elected Board from the 2017 Annual meeting.

All vacated positions were filled and or left open through a vote by the Board of Directors.

Robbins Brook HomeOwners Association We have a surprise! The Pool will open Friday, July 10th with restrictions. by Robbins Brook HOA on July 9th It is with great excitement but much caution that Robbins Brook’s Board of Directors have decided to open the pool for a trial run from July 10th at 10am to the 12th at 8pm. A determination will be made soon afterwards on moving to a week-to-week schedule with reduced hours.  Although the state is still in Phase 2 of reopening we believe that if managed safely Robbins Brook Pool can open for the season. No Soliciting!

Hey Robbins Brook! This seems to be a hot topic this week and we thought it would be best to address Robbins Brook's No Soliciting policy around the biggest time of the year for solicitors. Many companies are hiring college students this time of year to go door-to-door selling services. Most of these people are not aware that our neighborhoods has a No Soliciting policy. Unfortunately, many of our homeowners are also unaware of this policy. So how do we reduce and maybe stop the door-to-door solicitor? Here are a few helpful tips. Don't answer the door. This is hard for some because we are curious by nature. If you open the door it gives the solicitor hope of a sale or signature. This also provides them the motivation to try the next house even if you say no. If you are caught outside with this solicitor, kindly ask them to leave and then ignore them. Thank you to all that participated in our Robbins Brook Association Annual meeting, held on August 14th 2018. The meeting was a huge success!
